JET SKI HIRE & SAFARIS
With ordinary ocean or river Jet Ski hire you can only ride your jet ski on a compulsory circuit around and around in a 'roped off' small restricted hire pen. BIG DEAL. Do you think Jet Ski owners do that?
Jet Ski Hire & Drive Tours or Safaris are the latest & best way to 'hire a jet ski'. Instead of just sitting around in a boring roped off area, it's a real Jet Ski journey - in fact the exact same journey that many private jet ski owners do every day.
Firstly, a qualified marine instructor will teach you all the manouvres, operating and safety procedures. In no time at all you will be powering your own machine along unrestricted, pristine Marine Park waterways; doing all the manouvres you want through twisting & turning channels; while all the time passing incredible Marine Park scenery.

OUR JET SKI SAFARIS
We are the only Jet Ski Company with a commercial permit to conduct our safaris with-in Pumicestone Passage and Moreton Bay Marine Park. Pumicestone Passage is an exceptional Estuary System of meandering channels, sand banks and islands that separates Bribie Island from the mainland. There are 3 safaris.
Lighthouse Reach (45 - 50 min, $150 per jet ski)
A 25km blast along wide open waterways to a locals 'secret spot'. We travel South along the main channel, leaving the civilisation of Caloundra behind us as we accelerate towards Halls Bay and Egg Island ahead. A sharp 'left hander' brings us to Lighthouse Reach, the safaris namesake, where we briefly discover the diverse history and ecology of the area. Leaving Lighthouse Reach we 'get to throw the skis around' a bit as we travel at speed along the Western side of Bribie and commence our return journey.
Glasshouse Twister (80min - 1.5hr, $220 per jet ski)
Our most popular ride includes and takes over where Lighthouse Reach left off. The real fun begins after 'Roys' when an exciting S bend signals that we will now be cornering and accelerating our Jet Skis for 50km to negotiate a twisting and turning, mangrove lined main channel. This is also where the real Marine Park complexity begins. A system of islands, sandbanks and channels that support a wide diversity of significant species including Migratory Shore and Wading Birds from Alaska, Siberia, China; Marine Turtles; Dugongs and Dolphins. Discover this magnificant region, the Glasshouse Mountains and a few more 'local secrets'. Our journey home from here is a non-stop blast where the 'agility' of our machines is much appreciated. A great jet ski ride!
Toorbul Express (3hr, $370 per jet ski)
"Do your exploring in the fast lane!" From Caloundra to Toorbul township & return, a full-on three hour trip including the above safaris and riding almost the entire length of Pumicestone Channel. Full of 'surprises', this ride combines all types of water from winding estuary to ocean-like riding, passing quaint seaside villages, coastal camping grounds, historic oyster beds and local waterway activity. Also includes food & beverage at a 'sea-side pub' before our return leg. A fantastic & unique way to spend half-a-day. (min bookings apply)
